Coastal Cottage, Cornwall

This former fisherman's cottage is a wonderful hybrid of 200 year old building with a wealth of original character and a modern extension with living spaces to the upper floor, creating the most spectacular views out to the harbour and sea.

The brief was to turn the dated and down-market interior into a home-from-home for the new owners to enjoy and to create a luxury holiday retreat for letting.

We focused on making the most of the light and space and work included overseeing re-decoration, replacing all furnishings, sourcing window dressings, with all rooms dressed and styled ready for use.

An eclectic mix of old and new pieces gives this home a sense of relaxed, timeless luxury with layers of history weaved into each space.

Approximately 3 months planning and design, followed by a 3 month refurbishment programme.
